Manifest’s first collaboration with Klima affirms Manifest’s dedication to the climate.

Within two weeks of launch we’ve partnered with one of the most successful protocols ever in terms of real-world impact. At this moment in time, KlimaDAO has taken in 12.7 million tons of CO2, the equivalent to what’s produced by 2.7 million passenger vehicles annually.
We’re very grateful to deliver this collaboration to you with the blessing and support of the Klima team. Their tireless dedication and communication commands nothing but the highest respect. Thank you Klima, KlimaDAO, and all of the people that made this possible. You know who you are.
Win-Win
As Manifest moves into manufacturing physical clothing and delivering this clothing around the world, we undoubtedly produce carbon.
In an effort to reaffirm our dedication to the climate and using Manifest as a force for good, we aligned with Klima to create our first collaboration.
We’ll take the sOHM equivalent of the raised MNFST from our treasury to be swapped for KLIMA on Polygon. We intend to hold & stake KLIMA in Manifest’s treasury.
Manifest intends to continue this partnership with Klima. For example, we’ll have a special [Klima] green drop every season and use the proceeds to continue to build our carbon offset backing through staking Klima.
Klima gets sMNFST to demonstrate the DAOs willingness to partner with Climate positive protocols and Manifest offsets its carbon emissions through the Continuous Carbon Offsetting Program.
This program allows us to track and ensure that our carbon emission footprint is offset by the BCTs each of our sKlima are backed by. Manifest is the first real-world brand to offset its emissions using Klima, through this collaboration we’re climate positive from the beginning.

“Cooperation” is purposeful interaction of the actions between two or more creatures, people, organizations or systems. To tackle a problem as large as climate change, humans have to collectively come together, decide what needs to be done, and work back from first principles on how to accomplish it.

“Protection” is the practice of protecting the natural environment by individuals, organizations, and governments. Collectively, humans need to conserve natural resources, protect their existing natural environment, and where possible, repair damage and reverse trends.
MNFST x KLIMA Drop
The shock drop occurs on December 17th, Friday. We’ll announce in the Manifest discord, twitter, and Klima discord, and twitter at the same time.
There are 1332 NFTs total, 444 of each of the three t-shirts. 9% or 120 NFTs are reserved for the team (development, designers, 3d modelers, coordination, and special gift of 30 NFTs to the Klima treasury).
25% or 333 NFTs are reserved for the Manifest treasury to seed future buy/sell pools for Manifest. Then 66% is available for the public, or a total of 879 NFTs being sold on this drop.
We’ll open up physical claim for MNFST x Klima t-shirts mid-February.
NFTs are minted using MNFST or sMNFST, both options are available. You don’t have to stake to mint, vice versa, you don’t have to unstake to mint. The mint price is 2 sMNFST or 2 MNFST.
All NFTs go live for mint at the same time on our mint page which can be found on Manifest’s website.
Why Klima
As Manifesters, we value extreme ownership and taking responsibility for everything that happens in your life. This is extended to the climate, as we are all humans that reap the fruits of this beautiful planet, it’s our duty to give back however we can.
What we put in is what we get out, we should not have to tell our grandchildren that they have to check the air quality before playing outside.
Klimates taking on the challenge of climate change with the incentive structures created by Olympus comes from a place of belief that they have the power to create meaningful change. This aligned deeply with Manifest’s vision.
